DEIJ Affinity Group Facilitation -December 1, 2022

I had the opportunity to co-facilitate an affinity group with Peter Bateman, Shelly Maldonado, and Joel Llaban of AISA. We introduced the System Thinking Iceberg Model as a framework for naming the hurt caused by injustice and inequity and forging a pathway forward. Through the identification of events, patterns, and structures that perpetuate behaviors and systems that diminish and discriminate, and through creating mental models of education and awareness of cultural and racial issues, we will initiate a redistribution of power and resources for ALL PEOPLE. I am honored to have had this opportunity. I look forward to more.
